DENNIS C. GAUGHAN, ESQ.

is a native of Hamburg, NY, where he currently resides with his wife, Mary Rose, and his three children, Charles, Dennis Jr., and Joseph. He attended St. Francis High School, Syracuse University, and New York Law School, and is a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. He was admitted to the New York State bar in 1984 and worked for the Erie County Department of Social Services before opening his own practice in 1990. The office moved to its current location in 1995. Dennis is the former Hamburg Town Prosecutor and Assistant Town Attorney, as well as the former Blasdell Village Prosecutor.

Dennis is a member of the American, New York State, and Erie County Bar Associations; he is admitted to practice before all New York State courts, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals (Second Circuit), the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts.

One of the best known lawyers in the southtowns, Dennis’s practice includes bankruptcy, Social Security, criminal law, personal injury, divorce, real estate, wills and estate planning, family law (including child support, custody, and visitation), adoption, and DWI. He employs a staff of nine attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries who share over 100 years of experience.

R.J. FRIEDMAN, ESQ.

is a native of Hamburg, NY. He is an alumnus of St. Francis High School and graduated with honors from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a 2007 graduate of University at Buffalo Law School. R.J. worked as a law clerk for our office for seven years, through college and law school, before he was admitted to practice in New York in 2008. He was admitted to the US District Court for the Western District of New York and the US Bankruptcy Court in 2011. His practice is focused primarily on matrimonial and family law, real estate, and estate planning, and also includes criminal law and civil litigation. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and is active on the Family Court Practice and Procedure Committee and Matrimonial Law Committee for the Erie County Bar Association. RJ sits on the Board of Directors of the St. Francis High School Alumni Association, and is a former board member of the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association GOLD Group. He resides with his wife and daughter in West Seneca, NY.

LEE J. FABIATOS, ESQ.

is a native of Hamburg, New York. He is an alumnus of Nichols School in Buffalo and Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. He received his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2013, and was admitted to practice in June 2014. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Erie County Bar Association. His practice includes civil litigation, family court, criminal law and real estate.
